The whole family from Galilee going to Bethlehem for the census “fulfilled” the prophecy of Jesus being a Galilean, but born in Bethlehem.

Please understand that you cannot use the Bible to prove that the Bible, Jesus, or God all exist and that the stories are true.

Now I will accept faith, and I will take that people have personally experienced God in their lives. I am one of them.

But it is frankly ignorant and sounds foolish to argue that the Bible is true becomes it comes directly from God and therefore is proof that God exists because it says so.

There is no other explanation of how many prophecies did Jesus fulfill than the divine because the Bible says the man fulfilled many of the predictions made in that same Bible.

Old Testament Prophecies About Jesus

There are many prophecies made in the Old Testament Prophecies About Jesus. Some are repeated verbatim in the New Testament.

Others are repeated in part, or specific enough mention is made to trace it back to the Old Testament’s original prophecy.

There was a space of 400 years between the ending of the Old Testament books and the beginning of the New Testament books.

Old Testament Prophecies About Jesus

Suppose you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and how many prophecies did he fulfill, as described in the Bible? You might be fascinated in knowing why he had to come to Earth and stay here for so many years.

If all he had to do was fulfill Old Testament, how many prophecies did Jesus fulfill, find disciples, appoint apostles, teach them the new covenant, explain God’s Plan of Salvation and die on the cross to pay for the sins of humans? Couldn’t he have just come for a brief period to accomplish those things?

When Jesus visited the Earth, he fulfilled many Old Testament; how many prophecies did Jesus fulfill regarding the Jesus Birth, Life, and death of the Messiah.

Prophecies Of Jesus Birth

In the King James Version biblical book of Isaiah, the birth of Christ is described in Isaiah 7 14, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a maiden shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall declare his name Immanuel.”

His bodily appearance, Life filled with troubles and ultimate rejection by most people that lived during the time of his sojourn here on Earth was described in several Old Testament books, including the KJV biblical book of Isaiah 53, verses one to three: “Who hath believed our report? and to who is the arm of the LORD revealed?

He is despised and discarded of men; a man of sadness, and informed with regret: and we hid as it moved our appearances from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.”

Even if we consider all of the how many prophecies did Jesus fulfill concerning the birth, ministry, and death of the Messiah on Earth and Jesus was the Messiah, he still didn’t need to stay here for thirty-three years to accomplish those things.

And I often wonder why he chose to be born instead of just appearing somewhere as a full-grown male.

After all, if the Old Testament, how many prophecies did Jesus fulfill hadn’t predicted virgin birth, wouldn’t the sudden appearance of a man who was able to perform supernatural acts be just as miraculous?

Prophecies Of Jesus Birth

Why stay among humans so long? Like everything else that he did, I believe that Jesus chose to remain on the Earth as long as he did for our good.

He was born in Bethlehem, grew up, and died with a human body. He knew hunger, starvation, pain, rejection, homelessness, and all the things that are part of the human experience for better or for worse.

This allows the Lord to understand our prayer requests. He has been there, done that, or saw it all happen first hand.

Jesus likened SIN to sickness and described himself as a Physician. He knew the people that needed him most were not those who thought themselves to be righteous but admitted sinners who understood how others felt about the things that they did.

The King James Version Old Testament biblical book of Isaiah states in chapter sixty-four and verse six: “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy shreds, and we all arrange fade as a sheath; and our evils, like the wind, have carried us apart.”

The death of Jesus releases the people who investigate him from Hell. However, how many prophecies did Jesus fulfill? It’s also important to remember that his Life allows him to understand the trials and tribulations that we go through every day.

He not only answers the prayers of sinners seeking redemption through the shedding of his blood on the cross, but he also answers the prayers of those who have already accepted him as Savior.

As we have not a high minister, who cannot be treated with our deficiencies’ character but was in all cases moved like as we are, although without sin. Make us how many prophecies did Jesus fulfill; hence, come bravely against the authority of forgiveness, that we may receive mercy, and win the power to help in time of demand.”
